Dr. Yvonne Yang is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in all aspects of general adult psychiatry. After completing the MD/PhD combined degree program at Yale University with a focus on neuroscience, she matriculated into the UCLA psychiatry residency in 2010. After serving as chief resident for her last year of residency, she graduated in 2014 with extensive experience managing medications as well as working as a therapist in numerous modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
At this time, Dr. Yang's practice is accepting patients only for Tuesday evenings. Also, at this time, we are not accepting insurance directly however patients may bill their insurance companies after the fact.
Dr. Yang utilizes psychopharmacology to treat a full range of disorders including psychotic disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as adult disorders that manifested during childhood. Drug classes she is familiar with include antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, anxiolytics, as well as some hormonal treatments.
